Yesterday I was on Facebook and suddenly Windows Web Shield popped up on my screen. I’ve never had this happen before. It took control of my computer and came up about every 10 minutes interrupting whatever I’m doing on my PC. This program says my computer is seriously infected and keeps pushing me to register the licensed version in order to kill those infections. I am not sure if it is true but I don’t need it at all. I tried to uninstall it from control panel, but I didn’t find it there. How do I uninstall this rogue program from my Dell laptop completely?
