Please read through the following things NOT to do, so that you don't go and make the problem even worse!
1. Don't give up! This is the most important piece of advice that you can ever have when you deal with a computer problem. The problem may seem impossible (and impossibly frustrating) at first, but there is always an answer, 100% of the time.
There are usually several different things that can be wrong in any computer problem situation. Fortunately, it will most often be no more than one of these several different things.
It may take a bit of time to figure out just what exactly is wrong. It can often be as simple as a misnamed file or a cookie that needs to be cleared.
2. Don't try to download a "cracked" version of the software, in hopes that it will work better. "Cracked" or "warez" versions of software ultimately will not solve your problems. They may do so for a little while...but these unauthorized versions of software usually carry a hefty price: spyware, key loggers, "rogue spyware" and other privacy-violating programs designed to make a hard dollar from you.
3. Don't just up and delete the problem. This isn't going to solve anything, and you're going to be right back where you started. This will put you back at square one. If you do delete the installation software and give up, then the setup exe error will win!
4. Don't try to clean your registry by hand. This is so dangerous that even many PC technicians won't take on the task.
The Windows registry is a powerful but also very delicate database. Deleting the wrong file by accident could have a minuscule effect. After all, you might only delete a very minor process on a program you don't even use anymore.
It could also have a monstrous effect. You might end up deleting a win32 file that will windows to crash--and not start up again. It's a good idea to learn more about how to fix a setup exe error so that you don't crash your entire computer in the process!
Optimize-Your-PC, with its Advanced Registry Cleaning Technology, will fix setup exe error, and Speed Up Your PC, all in under 2 Minutes.
